The Viking Light is a versatile Packraft and can be used in the sea, on larger lakes, in mountain lakes, and in moderate rivers. The Viking Light is incredibly easy to use, even for those who have no experience with canoes or kayaks. You have a very stable sitting position and have plenty of room for both yourself and your backpack. The Viking Light is designed for the Norwegian mountains and therefore handles rough use.
All Norseraft Packrafts are handmade from TPU coated Nylon material, specifically manufactured to our requirements. The material is UV-resistant, abrasion-resistant, flexible at low temperatures, and in general just really tough. The tubes are made of 210D Nylon with a TPU coating on the outside. The floor is made of 840D Nylon with a TPU coating on both sides.
Norseraft Packrafts have seams that are both sewn and welded, making them stronger than the material itself. Each Packraft is handmade by skilled workers with state-of-the-art production equipment. Seams are taped where applicable to avoid leaks.

**To measure your sitting length, please sit down with your back against the wall and your legs extended. Please wear the shoes you intend to use for paddling while measuring from the wall to your heel. Your measured sitting length should be equal to or less than the sitting length provided in this table. This will give you a relaxed sitting position and the possibility to fully extend your legs.
Norseraft som företag är kanonbra att ha att göra med. Min första Viking Light brast i kvaliteten så Norseraft skickade en ny Viking Light. Den nya har ett annat material och verkar lite tåligare. Företaget är kanon att ha att göra med och raften är perfekt! Jag är 193 lång och väger 110kg, så denna är perfekt även för mig.

Having kayaked for years I was very pleased with how the Viking tracked and it's surprising speed on a recent river trip. I wasn't expecting much from a Packraft but I can see this being my go to for exploring obscure waterways. The build quality is superb and the Flextail pump a welcome bonus with this deal. I find the supplied entry level paddle a little heavy but it makes a great starting point for a breakdown paddle. The service and communication from Norseraft was superb which is reassuring when you live in the UK, no additional cost.
