Fast shopping, good customer service
Firstly I was extremely impressed with the service from Norsecraft. So far I have used my Viking on my local river, s turns on the rapid, ferry gliding etc. It takes a little adjustment from my usual kayak as it tends to move across the surface rather than cut it, really enjoying learning to handle a new craft. Appear well made, stable. Should have bought the foot rest, a dry bag seems to work. Trying on the lake this weekend.
All around good purchase.

Just arrived and looks fantastic. Customer service has been superb with quick responses to any question. Delivery has been prompt - can't wait to get it wet now :-)
Excellent packraft. Handles and tracks well. Tested it on a windy day on the lake and was surprised at how well the boat performed. Packs down to a very reasonable size for my rucksack. Inflates and deflates quickly and with relative ease. Haven't tested it on a river yet, but if it performs the way it has so far, things should go well.
Nice lightweight suit. Tried it once so far and was fully dry after a swim. I'm 184 cm tall and 72kg so I was unsure about size but the medium fit me OK
I have been away sailing and haven't personally seen/tried the raft yet: but I've had it confirmed the delivery was fast and professional. Definitely no hidden costs or taxes. Norseraft quickly answered all my questions before I ordered. These rafts are expensive (from anyone), but actually worked out cheaper than I expected, and price comparable to a SUP or kayak. I'm nearly 80y and some of my old canoeing friends are interested too now.
I was positively surprised, I liked it very much. Lightweight and really waterproof
Have used my Norseraft Viking a few times now and absolutely love it. Very light and stable and good fun on our local canals. Have carried my bike on the front of it without any problems and packs down to a size where I can carry it on the top of the pannier rack.
Fast and good delivery
Quality also good
I ordered from Norway and my boat arrived 3 days later. I haven’t paddled it yet but it appears to be very well made and good quality materials. I’m currently trying out all combinations of rucksacks and dry bags to load it to my liking. (And trying to fold it up as small as when it arrived!)
Sehr robustes Packraft, sehr leichtes und flexibles Carbonpaddel.
All inklusive Zubehör mit Spritzdecke etc. Konkurrenzlos!
Sehr schnelle Lieferung aus Norwegen!
I would give it a 4.5/5 so far and I've only used it twice since purchasing recently. It is easy to put together and lightweight. The swing-weight and feeling in the water are nice too. The centre-locking mechanism could be a little more robust so we'll have to see how durable this is over time.
GO ANYWHERE
The term "Packraft" was invented back in the 1970s and was used for lightweight boats made by American Safety Equipment for wilderness exploration. However the boat designs were simple, and the materials were not close to the same quality that we use today. By the end of the 1980s the last manufacturers had shut down, and packrafting was dying.
In the early 2000s modern Packrafting was born. Technological improvements made materials a lot more durable, and in the last 20 years there have been incredible developments in both material technology and design.
Modern packrafts are light enough to be carried long distances, packrafts are the perfect add-on to any adventure. Biking, hiking, car camping, traveling, or paddling in your own backyard. Packrafts pack up small and are very light weight making them easy to store and transport. Grab a paddle, strap any larger gear on top, and you’re ready to get out on the water!
